All rates are subject to availability and may increase or decrease based on Fuel Surcharge adjustments. In the event of any flight cancellations due to situations beyond the control of Silkway Trust LLP, the Client accepts responsibility for considering all possible options — potentially at different prices — to ensure that shipments are still delivered to the destination.
Payment Terms: Prepayment Policy on Timely Collection of Goods at the Destination Airport and Client Responsibility
1. Client Responsibility for Timely Collection The client is solely responsible for ensuring the timely collection of goods upon arrival at the destination airport. Any delays in collection may result in additional charges imposed by the airline or other handling parties.
2. Liability for Additional Charges If the shipments are not collected on time and Silkway Trust LLP incurs extra costs from the airline or any third parties due to storage, demurrage, handling, or other related charges, Silkway Trust LLP reserves the right to pass these costs on to the client on a net/net basis, without markups or deductions.
3. Client Indemnification The client agrees to indemnify and hold Silkway Trust LLP harmless from any financial liabilities arising from delayed collection of goods at the destination airport. The client acknowledges that Silkway Trust LLP is not responsible for monitoring or managing the collection process beyond the agreed-upon delivery to the airline.
By engaging Silkway Trust LLP’s services, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this policy.
Claim Policy After handover, the airline is fully liable. We assist customers in filing claims but are not responsible for any damage. Claims Process: Report damage immediately with photos and relevant documents (e.g., AWB, temperature report of the cargo) and request an official survey. Silkway Trust LLP can, upon the customer’s request, submit and follow up on the claim with the airline on behalf of the customer, at a fee of EUR 150 per case.
Cool Chain Disclaimer Silkway Trust LLP hereby informs that the cool chain cannot be guaranteed during the period immediately prior to loading onto the aircraft and immediately after unloading from the aircraft. It is the sole responsibility of the shipper/customer to ensure that the freight is properly packaged and covered in a manner that maintains the required temperature conditions during these periods of interruption.
Silkway Trust LLP accepts no liability for any loss of quality or damage resulting from temperature deviations occurring during the above-mentioned interruptions in the cool chain.
Cancellation Policy • Cancellation within 3–2 working days (72h) before flight departure: 50% of airfreight will be charged.
• Cancellation within 2–1 working days (48h) before flight departure: 75% of airfreight will be charged.
• Cancellation within 1 working day (24h) before flight departure: 100% of airfreight will be charged.
